Essentials To Keep In Your Car

Ella Oliva

Getting our first car is one of your first bits of freedom as a teenager. We spend countless hours over the years driving with friends, to work, or going on trips. The least we could do is be prepared for any situation. These will be some essentials I keep in my car.

First, is my trash can. This is a must if you are constantly driving with friends or taking your siblings places. Mine hooks onto the back of my center-console and it’s the most useful item in my car. It’s small but holds so much and makes it easier to keep your car tidy. Next, you should always keep an extra set of clothes and shoes in your car. The amount of times I’ve destroyed my shoes or spilled on my shirt on my way to an important event is ridiculous. This won’t be an everyday use but you’ll thank yourself for thinking ahead. Lastly, I have small hooks that attach to the back of my head-rest that I love. This is perfect for hanging groceries, practice bags, or shopping bags. This keeps items from falling out of those plastic bags and going all over the car. It’s quick and helpful for people who are always on the move.

Obviously there are probably way more important things to keep in your car for having a flat tire or jump starting your car, however these are some fun items to keep in your car to keep you organized.
