NFL Championship Weekend

Kasey Filler, Writer

Just like everything else, the NFL has looked a lot different this year. Not having millions of people in the stadiums for every game of the season has been a huge change for the organizations, fans, and players. This season has flown by and we’re only two short weeks away from the Super Bowl.

On this Sunday (January 24, 2021) the Packers will be playing the Buccaneers  for the NFC Championship game at Lambeau Field. This is a big game for both teams because whoever wins will be going to Super Bowl 55. If the Bucs win this will be Tom Brady’s first Super Bowl with the team and his 10th Super Bowl appearance in his career. On the other hand since Aaron Rodgers took over as the Packers quarterback for Brett Favre he has only won one Super Bowl. It would be great to see either team play in the Super Bowl this year. This game on Sunday between the Buccaneers and Packers should be a good one. Click here to read about Sports News’ predictions for the game.

The Bills are playing at the Chiefs this Sunday (January 24, 2021) for the AFC championship game. Whoever wins this game will play either the Bucs or Packers in the Super Bowl. This is the Bills best season in a long time, with a 15-3 record, and I’d love to see them make it to the Super Bowl.  Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City’s quarterback, might not be able to play in the championship game due to an injury from last week’s game against the Cleveland Browns. If Mahomes isn’t able to play this will definitely give the Bills a leg up going into the game this Sunday. With the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl last year they have a target on their backs.
