She ran up the stairs, bags almost packed, and running late of course. Her flight was taking off on time, and she was rushing around the house looking for her passport. She found it under the bed, packed the rest of her bags, and was off. She arrived at the airport, checked in, and got on the plane for her flight to go see the hanging garden of Babylon. It was a long flight so she ate some food and then took a nap. When Maribella’s plane landed she hurried to her hotel and tried to get rid of the jetlag by going for a swim at the beach by her hotel.
While at the beach she met this very nice man who offered her a drink from the smoothie bar; she got a papaya guava smoothie. After they were ready he brought it to her and gave her his number on a napkin. She relaxed and spent the day as a “lazy day”. Later that night Maribella went to the luxurious restaurant in the hotel and had the chef’s choice for dinner. The waiter brought her Filet Mignon with a baked potato and bread rolls. She ate until she couldn’t eat anymore, but then the waiter brought her creme brulee. She ended up eating some then took everything back to the hotel room.
She woke up the next morning, got dressed and went to start her adventure to see the hanging garden. She started hiking through the hills and up towards the mountains. All she could think about was what she could see next. She was so set on seeing the seven wonders because it was an unfinished plan by her mother. Maribella’s mother died when she was 13 , leaving all her work and studies to her daughter to carry on. She had to complete this not only for her but also for her mom. It was her last adventure but Maribella’s first.
