Coffee at Your Service

We all know the savoring taste of an iced coffee from Dunkin or Starbucks, however; spending those couple of dollars or almost 10 (Starbucks) everyday will add up quick. An alternative is buying the bags of coffee grounds from the same stores and making it at home, the only downside is waking up one day and realizing you’ve ran out and have to make a 25 minute drive into town for it. Two fellow coffee lovers from Seattle realized this issue and decided they could make a product to avoid this occurrence. In 2016 they teamed up to create a product called the Bottomless scale.

To use this product is simply, just set your bag of coffee grounds on the scale after each use, the scale then analyzes your consumption activity to know when to send you another bag before you run out. This company also utilizes logistical data from dozens of roasters and the US Postal Service to achieve this goal. Just within this last year the Bottomless scale went from 750 to 6,000 customers. Another perk this company offers is providing what they call local roasters, these have unique flavors they aren’t usually found in generic grocery stores. If interested in trying out this accommodating and simple scale it’s only 5.99 a month with coffees that range from $12 to $20.
