Boys Basketball: Review

This is the final week of regular season games! However, this past week the Chargers had a busy week. They had three games. The first game was on Tuesday at home against Fulton. The next game was at Fulton on Friday. On Saturday, the boys had a home game against Galva.

The game on Tuesday was good; however, the Chargers dominated the Steamers. The Orion Chargers were able to make most of their shots. In fact, the Chargers made a lot of three point shots. The final score ended up being 66-42. The varsity boys take on the Fulton Steamers again.

On Friday, the Chargers played the Fulton Steamers again for their senior night. This game was intense because there was a lot of people there to support both teams. The score was close at times, but the Chargers were able to stay on top and defeat the Steamers on their home court. The final scored ended up being 59-40.

The game on Saturday was against Galva. For most of the first quarter, the score was close. The Galva Wildcats had the lead a few times, but not a big enough lead where the Chargers couldn’t come back. In fact, the entire second half, the Chargers had the lead and dominated the Wildcats. The final score was 75-48.

This week, on Tuesday February 18th Orion has a home game against Knoxville. Then, the Chargers hit the road to take on Morrison on Wednesday, February 18th. Then, the boys have their final home game on Friday again Morrison. This game is also senior night. So, come out and support the boys on their final week of regular season play.
