The varsity boys basketball team had more games this past week. They had two games scheduled. They traveled to Farmington on Tuesday, February 4th. Then, they traveled to Rockridge on February 7th. There are only two weeks left of regular season games. While the season is slowly coming to an end, the varsity boys have still been playing well.

In the Tuesday game, the Chargers played the Farmington Farmers. This game was intense!  The score was back and forth for the entire game. The Chargers would take the lead, then a few seconds, possible minutes later, the Farmers would take the lead. It honestly kept going back and forth. At the start of the fourth quarter, the score was tied. Unfortunately, the Chargers slowly started to fall behind and couldn’t catch back up. They lost with the final score being 66-54.

The game on Friday, the Orion Chargers hit the road again to take on a tough Rockridge Rockets team. This game was even more intense then the game on Tuesday. During this game though, Rockridge had the lead for most of it. They wouldn’t get ahead by to much, but the Chargers would always seem to catch up, but not enough to catch the lead. However, in the final seconds of the game, the Chargers were only down by 3. Unfortunately, they fell short with the final score being 53-50.

The Orion Chargers have a packed week. They have four games scheduled for this week. On Tuesday they have a home game against the Fulton Steamers. Then, they have a game on Wednesday in Morrison. Next, the boys play on Friday against Fulton once again, but they travel to Fulton this time. Finally, they have a game on Saturday in Orion against Galva. As this will be a very busy week for the Chargers, make sure you go out and support them!
