Clemson will be playing LSU in the national championship after just barely being the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Fiesta Bowl. This is the Second straight year that Clemson is in the national championship and the fourth time in the past five years. Last year, The team beat Alabama for the title and is looking for another win this year.

Both teams are undefeated this season and the battle is on for the title. LSU is ranked first but both teams are playing very well right now. LSU had the best offense this season and Clemson had the best defense this season, but which is better? Joe Burrow won the Heisman this year and could be the number one pick going into the NFL draft. During the win over Oklahoma in the semifinal Burrow passed for 493 yards with seven touchdowns. Joe also led the country in completion percentage of 77.6%  But, Trevor Laurence is now 25-0 as a starter in two seasons. In the Clemson vs. Ohio State game Trevor passed for 259 yards and rushed for 107. “This game is as close as you’ll get to seeing NFL talent in college,” Manuel said. “Both quarterbacks have great receivers, a tremendous offensive line and offensive coordinators who like to throw the football down the field. It should be one for the ages.”

The national championship will be played at 8 p.m. ET on Monday, Jan. 13, 2020. The game will be at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana and it is going to be a good one.
