The athlete of the week is freshman Trey Erdmann. He plays both basketball and soccer.

Q: What is your favorite part of basketball so far?

A: “Practicing with all the sophomores and seeing how they play as a team.”

Q: Do you have a team and player that you look up too in the NBA?

A: “James Harden, because he is a good player to watch.”

Q: What are you gonna do before a game to prepare?

A: “Listen to music, and mentally prepare myself.”

Q: What are your biggest goals for the season as a team? Do you have any personal goals?

A: “As a team, it is to get a positive record, and personal is to be the best player I can be.”

Q: How long have you played basketball for?

A: “I would say since like 4th or 5th grade.”

Q: What is the best thing about practice?

A: “Playing with everyone on the team.”

Q: Why did you wear number 1?

A: “I would have picked a different number but it was the last pick.”

Q: Who is gonna be the toughest school that you have to play?

A: “I don’t know, I’m only a freshman.”

Q: Do you plan on playing basketball in college?

A: “I don’t know yet, I haven’t really looked that far ahead.”

Q: What teammate could go to play in the NBA?

A: “Josh Johnson, he’s a really good player.”

Q: Have you ever been injured while playing basketball?

A: “No, not that I can think of.”
