On Wednesday nights game, the charger volleyball team was in for a battle in the first set. Battling back and forth, point for point with El Paso. The chargers tied it up 25-25 at the end of the game, have to win by two. Orion pushed hard for the next two points, winning 27-25. In the next set, the chargers made it a little easier for the fans. Emiliah Morrison went on a serving run, which pushed the chargers ahead. The game was 24-14 and El Paso was up to serve. They served out, and the chargers won 25-14.

Sarah Jacobsen tallied 10 kills and 8 digs on the night, alongside Mackenzie Grafton with 8 kills, 6 digs, and 3 aces. Senior setter, Faith Catour had 13 assists and 5 digs. Olivia Farwell stacked up 5 kills, Emiliah Morrison had 6 blocks, 3 kills, and 2 aces, Ashley Awbrey tallied 7 assists and 4 digs, and Kati Kratzberg racked up 16 digs on the night. The Chargers had excellent stats and it showed on the court. 

The Orion volleyball team is headed to super sectionals tonight. After beating Deer creek Mackinaw on Monday, 25-14 and 25-19 . Then winning the Sectional championship on Wednesday against El Paso-Gridley 27-25 and 25-14. In the Super Sectional Championship, the chargers will be facing Decatur St Teresa. The theme for tonight’s game is RED OUT.
