The Bears played the Vikings on Sunday and came out with the win. The score was 16-6. The Bears are now 3-1 which makes them tied with the packers. Even though the Bears won it wasn’t without some difficulties. Their quarterback, Mitchell Trubisky, was injured early in the first quarter. This happened on the bears’ sixth offensive play when Minnesota defensive end Danielle Hunter sacked Trubisky for a 10-yard loss. On the play, Trubisky’s body twisted and his left shoulder hit the ground as Hunter pulled him down, causing the quarterback to fumble. Minnesota’s Everson Griffen grabbed the ball, although a defensive holding penalty on Vikings safety Anthony Harris gave the ball back to Chicago.

Trubisky dislocated his left shoulder and there is a slight labrum tear but surgery is not needed and he will be back sooner rather than later. Backup quarterback Chase Daniels played a good game managing to have no turnovers and finished the game 22 of 30 for 195 yards. He also threw a touchdown pass to Cohen. Matt Nagy said, “That’s the one luxury that we have is having Chase. He knows the offense really, really well. He’s really like a coach out there. He can fix any mistakes that I have, even if it’s just communication, he’s able to handle hat. He did that a couple times yesterday. If he’s who ends up playing, then we feel very comfortable. We ran into this last year, right? If Chase is our guy, we’ll have a plan and then same thing with Mitch. So I just — I feel comfortable, I know the other teammates feel comfortable with him as well. We’re fortunate to be in this position.”

The Bears play the Oakland Raiders in London on October 6 at noon. Khalil Mack said that he is excited to play against his former team. The Linebacker was selected by the Raiders with the 5th pick in the 2014 Draft, and spent 4 years with the team.“It’s another game, man,” Mack said Tuesday at Halas Hall. “It’s going to be a fun one because I know a few of the guys out there. But it’s going to be a good one. Can’t wait.”
