Parents Lose Custody of Child

The parents of Noah McAdams lost the custody of their child in September. This all started because of the refusal of leukemia treatment. In April, Noah was diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia. He had only undergone two chemo treatments before quitting treatment for alternative options. They chose this option due to the side effects of chemotherapy. Child Protection Services then obtained a court order for the custody of Noah after many missed treatments and leaving the state. Then, on April 29th, the sheriff’s department issued an endangered child alert for the boy. They then went to trial and the judge revoked custody of Noah from his parents to his grandparents. The custody removal was stated as “imminent risk of neglect.
