National Suicide Awareness Day

Bianca Schnerre, Writer

Today is National Suicide Prevention Day. We need to bring more awareness to the topic, because the world loses around 800,000 people to suicide each year. There is still a bad stigma around mental illness and the topic of suicide. If you or someone you know is going through this or is having a hard time, then feel free to reach out to a friend, or a trusted adult.
