A college in Texas, Sam Houston State University, is offering a scholarship up to $2800 for honors students to take white privilege and BLM classes. The school also offers early course sign up and allows students to use laptops if they sign up for these classes. SHSU is giving incentives for students to take classes that will educate them on subjects trending in the real world. The college wants to educate honors students on white privilege and how to dismantle systemic racism. They also want to educate students that Black Lives do Matter, and how to stop racial violence. While students will be getting an education on important and useful material, they will also be receiving a scholarship for doing so.
